Welcome our new Schmieder Resident Rev. Anita Retzlaff!!!

Dear Members of the LTS Community,

This term, we welcome the Rev. Anita Retzlaff as our Schmieder Resident. Pastor Retzlaff is an LTS graduate twice over, having completed both Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology degrees with us.

Pastor Retzlaff will serve as chaplain to the LTS community – students, staff, faculty, and friends – as we go through the ups and downs of our final term at 114 Seminary Crescent and prepare to move into a building with our Saskatoon Theological Union partners. She will be with us part-time until June, in office 205, providing ministry of presence. Bring your interests, your questions, your challenges, your inclination to chat!

Please welcome Pastor Retzlaff. If you would like to talk with her and are off-campus or just can’t find her, call her at office phone at 306-966-2277 or email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.; she will be happy to get back to you.

Blessings,

Ann Salmon is Leaving...

Dear Friends of LTS:

With sadness, I announce that the Rev. Dr. Ann Salmon has chosen not to pursue the renewal of her contract at LTS. Dr. Salmon will be missed as a teacher, Dean of Chapel, and Director of Internships.

With joy, however, the Saskatoon Theological Union Heads of Colleges, St. Andrew’s College Principal Richard Manley-Tannis, The College of Emmanuel & St. Chad Principal Iain Luke, and President Harrison announce that Dr. Salmon has been hired by the Saskatoon Theological Union to be Director of the Doctor of Ministry program, succeeding the outgoing director, Dr. Jennifer Janzen-Ball. Dr. Salmon is a graduate of the DMin program; she has also served as a DMin project director and a member of the DMin Committee. We are looking forward to Dr. Salmon’s continued presence among us in this part-time capacity.

As this academic year ends, please stop by LTS and say goodbye to Dr. Salmon as an LTS faculty member and wish her well as she pursues her new position as director of the STU’s Doctor of Ministry program.

The Rev. Dr. William Harrison

President
