The primary criterion for bursaries is financial need.
Only students who have applied for Student Aid are eligible to receive bursaries (as listed below).
Some awards feature additional criteria.
To qualify for bursaries and other student aid, students must be in good academic standing.

Challenge Scholarship - 2024/2025
Lutheran Theological Seminary (LTS) in Saskatoon, is challenging exceptional students who have strong academic and servant leadership potential to prepare for a life-changing ministry of the Gospel.
Applicants must be admitted by LTS Faculty into either the MTS or MDiv program, before applying for the Challenge Scholarship.
Canadian Applicants (2024-2025):

The LTS Canadian Challenge Scholarship is for Canadian students who have been accepted into the Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree, or the Master of Divinity (MDiv) at our seminary.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must be a member of a church in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC).
International Applicants (2024-2025):
Application period now closed, as of June 30, 2024
The LTS International Challenge Scholarship is for International students who have been accepted into the Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree, or the Master of Divinity (MDiv) at our seminary.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must be a member of a Lutheran Church that is a member in good standing of the Lutheran World Federation.
