Learning that cultivates biblical and theological understanding, develops skills and knowledge in leadership and discipleship, and deepens the spiritual life.
If you’re interested in growing your faith, expanding your knowledge in leadership and service, and learning more about the Bible and being Lutheran or Anglican, consider participating in a course from our Leading In Faith Today (LIFT) curriculum.
Through LIFT, anyone involved or interested in lay or local leadership—including the general public—can study church history, theology, the story of the Old and New Testaments, worship and liturgy, and other topics related to Christianity.
We currently offer 21 courses in total, available online (60-day limit) and printed manuals.
Special Feature: LIFT Preaching
Have you ever wondered how to create and deliver a sermon, either for your own interest or perhaps to preach as a layperson in your church? LIFT Preaching will teach you what is necessary to do just that. LIFT Preaching courses are designed specifically for people who are interested in deepening their relationship with God—whether learning how to better understand the Bible, or in more deeply understanding Lutheran faith traditions, or even learning how to prepare and deliver a sermon. We would love for you to join us!
